“letting go”
We talk about being present,
but we don’t talk enough about letting go.
Letting go of control.
Of needing to get it right.
Of needing to prove something.
Mindfulness isn’t about holding it together —
it’s about softening the grip.
It’s about noticing.
Responding, not reacting.
Allowing, not forcing.
Start where you are.
Let the movement come to you.
Fall into the next shape,
even if it’s not pretty,
even if you don’t land.
You’ll feel more free
when you do what feels real.
When you trust what’s already in you.
This is your performance,
not the performance.
There’s no count.
No right.
No front.
Your body already knows
where to go,
Don’t rush — your body will follow.
Or maybe it won’t.
But that’s the point.
